For cucumbers, melons and watermelons

For tomatoes, aubergines and peppers

Two possibilities
In the rootstock range there are two main types. Solanaceae rootstocks for tomatoes, aubergines and peppers, and Cucurbitaceae rootstocks for cucumbers, melons and watermelons. Thanks to our unstinting breeding efforts we keep continuously widening and deepening our range, with each rootstock having its own specific traits.
Production and quality
Depending on the crop concerned, rootstocks can be invaluable for a vegetable crop. Grafting onto a vigorous rootstock can increase production quite considerably, for instance. But it can also ensure better fruit set during the winter period and so give a higher production and better quality. This is always a matter of just the right combination of cultivar and rootstock.
Best match
With the increasing importance of good rootstocks, demand for specific rootstocks for specific crops is also growing. We are working on it. What’s more, choosing the right rootstock also depends on the wishes, growing conditions and growing method of a grower, which does not always make it easy. With a wide range and thorough crop advice we are only too pleased to help growers along.
