Fine September weather encouraged a good first-day attendance at the Rijk Zwaan Organic Open day held at Goathurst, near Bridgewater, in Somerset, UK.

The Open Day was a joint venture between Rijk Zwaan and Edwin Tucker and Sons, who distribute Rijk Zwaan’s range of organic seed in the U.K. It provided an opportunity for growers to see a wide range of vegetable and salads grown according to organic principles. Visitors to the site were particularly impressed with the quality of the crops on show.
