Volutus RZ is een kort donkerblauw herfstras met een korte overgang en opgerichte bladstand.
Het ras heeft een goede productie, uitstekende pelbaarheid en uniformiteit. Kenmerkend is de lange veldhoudbaarheid en kan zeker de winter in. Volutus is weinig gevoelig voor bruine schachtstrepen.
Zeer geschikt voor vermarkting op kistlengte en voor ingekorte prei.
