Longma is een zeer vegetatief groeiende bewaarkool. De trage vulling leidt tot geringere tripsschade en zorgt ook voor enige vorsttolerantie. Door het veranderende klimaat komt met dit ras veldbewaring in beeld. De kool blijft zeer lang groen in de bewaring. Longma biedt een uitbreiding van het bewaarsortiment aan het eind van het seizoen.
