Proloog RZ is het standaardras voor de voorjaarsteelt in Noordwest-Europa. Het ras heeft donkergroene en aantrekkelijk geribde vruchten met een stabiele kwaliteit en uitstekende houdbaarheid. Het gemiddelde vruchtgewicht is 400 gram. Proloog heeft een open en gebalanceerd gewastype. Het blad op de ranken is compact en het ras neemt zijn vruchten goed mee. Het is een ras met een goed uithoudingsvermogen en is intermediate meeldauw resistent.
